Diplomaticos cigars from Cuba
Diplomaticos · Cuba3 cigars

The Diplomaticos Cuban cigars were launched in Cuba in the 1960s. Although it is a very interesting brand of Cuban cigars, it remains relatively unknown in Europe. Currently, there is only one format in this series.
All Diplomaticos cigars are handmade in Cuba. The tobacco used for the filler, binder, and wrapper of the cigars comes from the Vuelta Abajo - the best tobacco-producing region in Cuba. The blends are selected to produce medium to full-bodied cigars.
The little sister of the Montecristo brand, Diplomaticos made its market debut in 1966; an economical alternative to Montecristo, it largely adopts their blends and names but at a lower price. Thus, the series featured five modules numbered from 1 to 5, followed by numbers 6 and 7, exactly in the chronological order of the appearance of the different formats of Montecristo, including the Especiales n° 1 and n° 2. Even the sizes are identical between the corresponding formats of the two brands.
Entirely hand-rolled at the Jose Marti factory by the finest torcedors in Havana, they are crafted with great care. Furthermore, made from whole leaves, these premium long fillers initially targeting the French market are now sought after worldwide. Just like the Quai d’Orsay, they are mild and creamy.
Cigar enthusiasts who prefer mild cigars and beginners will be delighted by this balanced blend with a subtly spicy character.
