Lonsdale17 cigars

The Lonsdale takes its name from Hugh Cecil Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale, a great aficionado of Cuban cigars at the end of the 19th century. This format is considered one of the most balanced in the Cuban range: long enough for a complete aromatic evolution, yet without the intimidating length of double coronas. Its ring gauge of 42 is slender, which concentrates the aromas and provides a dense and flavorful smoke.

The slow combustion of the Lonsdale allows for a full appreciation of the three thirds of a cigar: sweetness at the beginning, complexity in the middle, and intensity at the end. This format is particularly suited to Cuban cigars from the Vuelta Abajo region, where the finesse of the filler is highlighted by the modest gauge. Partagas, Montecristo, and H.
